Kathy enjoys working with individuals and couples as they sort through issues in their lives.  She especially enjoys working with the partners of sex addicts.  Kathy’s area of focus is in teaching individuals and couples how to communicate, resolve conflict, and work on individual identity issues.  She also specializes in teaching the partner of a sex addict how to establish healthy boundaries.

Kathy's compassionate heart and gentle spirit allows clients to feel encouraged and safe as they work through their struggles in therapy.  Kathy believes a healthy relationship with God and others is vital to living an abundant and joyous life.

Kathy Taussig has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary and has an Elementary Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado.   Kathy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is currently working with clients at Colorado Christian University.

Kathy taught school for many years in a variety of settings.  She has taught in public schools in Colorado, Florida and two years overseas with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

She has been married to her husband for 34 years.  She has three grown children; two are married and she has three grandchildren.  Her family continues to be a top priority in her life.  Along with enjoying her family, Kathy is involved in ladies Bible Studies, mentoring, swimming, hiking/walking, mission work and traveling.
